About Jolly International School
Jolly International School is a British curriculum-based school in Kampala that prioritizes early literacy through Jolly Phonics, fosters a diverse and cross-cultural environment, and aims for holistic child development.
It’s been just over a year since Leotard Ballet Uganda embarked on a wonderful journey with Jolly International School Kampala, and what a journey it has been! This partnership, born from a simple online search, has blossomed into a vibrant ballet program enriching the lives of many students.

How Jolly International Ballet Journey started.
Julie, an administrator at Jolly International, first discovered Leotard Ballet Uganda through our website, recognizing the potential for ballet to add a unique dimension to their school’s offerings. We organized a meeting to discuss the logistics, policies, and financial aspects, and it was clear from the outset that there was a shared vision for bringing the grace and discipline of ballet to their students.
The ballet movement at Jolly International has ever since grown into a visible culture, passion, and a source of pride for the school community. What began as an introduction to a new form of artistic expression has evolved into a vibrant program that nurtures both talent and character.

What We Have Achieved
Parents have expressed their excitement at seeing their children embrace this graceful art form, while teachers note the positive impact it has had on students’ focus and physical coordination. Performances at school events now feature elegant ballet routines, drawing admiration and inspiring younger students to join.
